Hi Tony,

Just writing to follow up to our earlier conversation.  I've just finished the 14 day miracle transformation, and have lost exactly 10 lbs.  I was actually down 11, but the last 2 days with less water and more carbs actually bumped the scale up one lb!  I still have 19 lbs to lose, and would like to continue on with your next program,  Your Best Body Ever.

I'm attaching my before and after photos. If you feel that they'd be helpful in showing other clients, feel free.  What type of deal do you think I could get on your manual and journal? (I'd like to order them asap, to keep my weight loss efforts moving forward quickly.)

Four years ago I was 50 and dying. Having been diagnosed with full blown menopause, I was struggling with mood swings, weight gain, depression, near fatal hot flashes and night sweats.

For so long, I had looked forward to the cessation of my menses. Now, I wanted it back. I was miserable and so was my husband. After months of him trying to sleep with a crazy woman and an open bedroom window in the middle of winter, he suggested that I head to the gym and start working with a trainer.

I called Tony Avilez and soon thereafter began training with him at first once a week and then twice a week. It was intense. Behind his back I called him names like the Prince of Pain and the Marquez de Saad. Cruel and wicked are terms I also used to describe him. We worked hard. Actually, I worked hard and he encouraged me, supported me, challenged me and took me way beyond my comfort zone. But with his open and friendly manner, every workout was an enjoyable one. Most importantly, I saw results. I developed calves for the first time in my life!

I'd like to tell you that the hot flashes went away and menopause was no longer a problem because of my work with Tony. But that's only partially true. I eventually went on HRT (hormone replacement therapy) but I did so with confidence and satisfaction that I had done all that I could on my own (diet, exercise and lots of soy). As a result of all my efforts, I was able to turn the tide and win the war.

There are still battles and skirmishes to fight. Getting older is just like that but I know longer feel hopeless, depressed and victimized by my situation. Working with Tony Avilez helped me transition through a very difficult season of life.

In 2004, he was recognized by Personal Fitness Professional magazine as one of the top-100 trainers in the nation. In addition, he's written seven books and produced a variety of fitness and nutrition videos.

"My goal is to become the fitness czar of Staten Island," Tony said. "My only focus is to make an impact right here where I live. Staten Island as a community is in need of its own health, fitness and weight-loss resources. So the future plan is to reach out, touch and help as many Staten Islanders as possible."

Unlike a lot of others books what I appreciated most, is that the book outlines not just what to do in the 14 day program but it also tells you why. So many books on fitness just tell you what you should do, but fails in making you understand why. I'd admit the program was challenging, but I found that I was able to achieve a lot more than I gave myself credit for. I encourage anyone who reads this to not focus on what you have to give up(hey its only two weeks guys)but what you are getting in return. I honestly felt the best I had in my life. After the firt 3 days I lost some water weight, I had co-workers commenting to me on how I looked like I was losing weight. If you can, check out his website, I did there are a lot of other great products when you are ready to make life changes permanently. Great read! I recommend it to anyone.

I went to one of Tony's workshops. I sat there and listened to him and thought to myself that it sounded good, but that it wouldn't work for for me. I bought the book but I didn't read it for about 2 months. Finally I made up my mind to do the program and I lost 15 pounds. My waist shrunk from 36 to 32. I was skeptical until it worked for me. I think that anyone who is healthy and wants to start losing weight fast should try this program.

I followed the plan to the letter of the law, and as the author promised, I had a total transformation! Not only did I lose 9 lbs. in two weeks but my whole body changed. Diet is only part of the program. Doing the exercise really tones the body at the same time. While the first two days were hard, after that I felt like I was on top of the world cause I knew that I was really taking care of myself. This feeling of strength permeated both my professional and private life and I looked great too.

At first I was skeptical of what this diet/training program could do in just 14 days, however, I stuck to most of the program and really felt a difference. I found ways to compensate and made it through the entire program. The cardio training is also tough, but like Tony advises, if it was easy it wouldn't work. It does work and I've learned that while it takes some discipline, the results and healthy feelings are worth it.

It has been a long time since I went into Manhattan to learn about protiens and how to lose 20 lbs in 2 weeks :) I have been using weights and working out since and I have taken off 20 lbs as well . I am stil having a hard time with my mid section , I have a midriff bulge and a fat back, I am top heavy anyway and it makes me look like a lollipop . What can I do . My Brother, My Brother! that class was awesome. Two weeks past when I last saw you and I started it on that Monday as promised. The first three four days was hell but I had stuck it out. I feel so refreshed and so renewed. You damn sure know what you are talking about and proud to say I lost 17 pounds. (yeah Baby!) But, this monday coming will be four weeks on it and I got addicted to the process and it might not be healthy for me to lose weight that fast. But, the newfound lifestyle I'm addicted to and the no sugar no salt has no effect on me whatsoever. You can still eat great without all the bad stuff in your system. And the funny thing is I love water like crazy now. (LOL) To think I was the biggest hater of water and now I can't go without it in my life. Sorry brother I didn't take a before picture because the appearance with the shirt off is truly gruesome. I will give you a call A.S.A.P
