Tony Books Avilez, CSCS has distinguished himself as a top notch fitness advisor and lifestyle coach. He has been recognized as one of the best in his field.

Tony has certifications from American College of Sports Medicine as a personal trainer as well as a certified Health Coach from the American Coucil on Exercise. He is certified as a nutritional consultant by American fitness professionals & Associates and a Nutrition Specialist from the American Academy Sports Dieticians and Nutritionists. He also possesses the prestigious Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Most importantly, Tony (or Books as he is often called) has used his special gift as a communicator to motivate and inspire his personal clients and seminar audiences to implement exercise, nutrition and lifestyle management as a means to effect change in their lives for the better. In his effort to develop an easy to follow lifestyle format for his clients, Books developed The D.E.C.K.S. Method. The D.E.C.K.S. Method is basically a formula for developing 'The Ultimate Physical You' by using what Tony calls, 'The Seven DECKS of health and Fitness.'

He is the author of 5 books on health and fitness and has appeared in national periodicals such as Flex magazine, Black Enterprises as well numerous local and regional publications.

Tony is a very gifted and entertaining speaker. He frequently appears as a presenter at various public and private functions to share his unique philosophies on the importance of health, fitness as well as conditioning yourself for success. He frequently conducts a workshop entitled How to lose 20 pounds in 14 Days at The Learning Annex in New York City.

Mr. Avilez is also a member of Directors for the Staten Island Fitness and Weight loss institute. This is a compilation of medical, wellness and fitness professionals committed to improving the state of health for all Staten Islanders.

Raquel Pronesti Oechsner has had an interest in fitness since childhood.   Thanks to her parents, she was involved in recreational sports such as ice skating and biking as well as team sports including basketball, softball, swimming and volleyball. Deciding to become a personal trainer was her way of combining her true passions: teaching and fitness. She holds a Master's Degree in Education and a Post Graduate Degree in School Administration.   Raquel is a W.I.T.S Certified Personal Trainer with specialty certifications in TRX Suspension Training and Fitness Coaching.

Barbara Rodriguez is a W.I.T.S certified personal trainer with a specialty certification in Fitness Coaching and TRX Suspension Training. Barbara gained her Bachelor's Degree from Brooklyn College and has over 20 years as an administrator in the medical field.

Her passion has always been in strength training and conditioning and she has been coaching her family and friends in fitness and nutrition for as long as she can remember.

Barbara truly enjoys the intimacy of one on one personal training with her clients. She has passionately dedicated a great deal of her time helping individuals reach their personal goals. As she continues her quest for a healthy lifestyle, Barbara aspires to continue to grow in a field which she finds thrilling, motivating and inspirational.
